Woman arrested for fraud alert on credit report.
A car dealer salesperson immediately called police when a fraud alert came up on a prospective buyer's credit report, prompting an arrest on the spot for identity theft.
That's the way it's supposed to happen, but, unfortunately, it is still quite unusual that identity theft arrests are made this way.
