Question: Radio Interface Hassle resolution. I am using Win 98 IE WYSIWYG. My printer is HP Deskjet 895 C. I do not know HTML but I can try to follow directions when inserting some code.
My Radio Editing and Printing environment seems to fluctuate.
- Sometimes when I print something, the whole text fits sideways on my paper, all readable.
- That is what I want, all the time.
- Sometimes when I print, the rightmost text gets chopped off.
- I get this scenario far too frequently.
- More often on other people's pages than my own.
- Sometimes when I edit, the editing box fits the screen very nicely.
- I can see left and right margins at the same time.
- I can see bottom of page where I am keying, and at the same time I can see the top controls to adjust color, bold, indent, hyperlink, etc.
- There is no scroll bar across the bottom of the page.
- The only time I need to use scroll bar at side is to access text up or down, not to get at the top controls.
- Sometimes when I edit, the editing box is significantly larger than what fits on my screen.
- I have to use scroll bar at bottom to get at scroll bar on right so I can see next line I want to key, then use scroll bar at bottom to see beginning of line that I am keying.
- Sometimes I have to use scroll bar to get to top controls, to change color, bold, indentation.
- I have found that if I do indentation last, screen jumps to where cursor was, to do next keying.
- I want to change my indentation, so scroll up again to get to top controls.
- I get accustomed to this damnable way of doing things then
- Surprise, it is working again hassle free.
- Then a few posts, perhaps a few days, then
- Surprise, it is messed up again.
- Sometimes it is the printing that is hostile.
- Sometimes it is the editing that is hostile.
- Is this some setting within my IE or elsewhere on my PC?
- Is this some setting within my Radio preferences?
In addition to this intermittent annoyance, I have been experiencing general PC lockups, Microsoft Blue Screen of Death, spontaneous reboot, Internet modem connection blips out and has to be rebooted. It is possible that in high volume PC reboots somethings get reset different ways on different reboot paths.
