Another Question about this topic.
Question: I've noticed that some people have started to use the word/text "Permalink" or another graphic in place of the /very /tiny # that is Radio's default. I'm not quite sure how to modify macros, if that is indeed what it takes. Answer: http://radio.userland.com/discuss/msgReader$18737 [Don W Strickland: RadioFAQ]
This reminds me of another Question.
I'd also like to know how to do Perma Links on a Manila site. For example, I might have step by step instructions how to do something, or a FAQ, in which people could have links from initial outline to details below, or at bottom of an item have a link to return to the top of the whole thing.
Or for that matter, see my Understanding Radio Categories where I start out with a list of things I discovered that I needed to understand, to get the hang of the whole big picture. It would be really nice if each of the summary questions up top was a link to the detail answer down below.
Down the road I hope to learn Radio Outlining, but in the mean time, if I have a bunch of related topics, in a rather complicated essay that I have been unable to simplify, and I want to cross link them to each other ... see this or that for more info. I can't get a link until they end up on my web site, but I don't want to put them on my web site until I finished polishing them. The only solution I know right now is to have a bunch of stories that get populated Bottom Up, so the table of contents is the last thing I create.
