[Boing Boing Blog] QUOTE
God lashes out. Aggravated with banal roadsigns that purport to represent His PoV like these:
Let's meet at my house Sunday before the game. -God
C'mon over and bring the kids. -God
What part of "Thou Shalt Not..." didn't you understand? -God
We need to talk. -God
Keep using my name in vain, I'll make rush hour longer. -God God has created a site with his own responses:
I never said, "Thou shalt not think." —God
Okay, you've got multiplying down. Now let's try replenishing for a while. —God
I don't care who started it. Just stop it. —God
If you seek to know my ways, read a damn science book. —God Link Discuss (Thanks, Bill!) UNQUOTE [Boing Boing Blog]

- I was born in Aberdeen Scotland
- (I am a legal immigrant with a Green Card).
- Aberdeen is on the North East Coast of Britain, about 1/2 way between the border of Scotland and England, and a tourist attraction known as the Loch Ness Monster.
- I now live in Evansville Indiana
- (I am in the phone book).
- State of Indiana recently been in local news due to:
- Bureau of Motor Vehicles change in rules for identifying people who qualify for a Driver's License;
- Training lapses that led to misunderstandings by Bureau employees;
- Public misunderstandings about the new rules;
- I told some friends about the new rules and was told No Al, those rules apply to someone getting Driver License for first time, not for simple renewal. I went back to BMV web site and either my friends are wrong, or the site is wrong.
- I have read several news stories that agree with my friends.
- Inaccuracies on some web sites;
- Quest got contract to redesign BMV forms;
- People can have their driver's license suspended and not be notified it happened, and it also be kept a secret from your auto insurance company;
- Law Suit by Indiana Civil Liberties Union;
- Latino community alleges that the new rules are discriminatory;
- Rules being changed again to address some of the complaints.
- Here are links to what the rules are in each state in the USA.

I think I am running a mild fever. Symptoms: achy; chills; runs. In last week or so I have had intermittent indigestion, which I had presumed was combination of stress, no exercise, eating habits.

Subject: 9-11-01 (email not broken)

This has not been broken since 9/11/01, please keep it going... This has been kept alive and moving since 9/11. In memory of all those who perished this morning; the passengers and the pilots on the United Air and AA flights, the workers in the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, and all the innocent bystanders. Our prayers go out to the friends and families of the deceased.
IF I KNEW
If I knew it would be the last time That I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.
If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, Well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything just right.
There will always be another day to say "I love you," And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can do?"
But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear, Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear
Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me," "Thank you," or "It's okay." And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.
Please send this on. Thank you.

For some people, Sep 11 is a day of remembering fallen heros. For me, the whole year has been days like that, and struggling with answers to questions related to how this war began and how to win a political victory against the social forces that lead some people to hating us in the West. I hope that, in time, Sep 11 will become like Pearl Harbor day, and the media circus that makes it seem like to them Sep 11 is bin Laden day, will find some days like VE day (WW II Victory in Europe) to the real celebrations. Did WW II have great days of celebration before the war was over, when our ancestors lacked certainty that the war would be won by the Allies? Well there was the Doolittle Raid over Japan, raising of the US flag on some Pacific island, and Allies liberating Paris. We are going to need some milestones like that in the War on Terrorism.
