About Ed Cone

I live in Greensboro, North Carolina with my wife, Lisa, our two children, and our dog, Luna. I am employed as a senior writer at Ziff Davis Media and write an opinion column for the News & Record, the monopoly daily newspaper in my home town. I have worked as a contributing editor at Wired, a staff writer at Forbes, and a freelancer for a wide variety of magazines and papers. This is my personal weblog. The opinions I express here are my own and should not be held against any other publications or organizations with which I am associated. A few clips of my work:

Baseline case study on the Howard Dean campaign

Forbes: Who is Chico Sabbah?

News & Record: A Smaller Circle of Friends

News & Record: Separation of Church and State

Wired: The Paper Computer
