The DNR's Nongame Wildlife Program is recruiting volunteers for the 2003 Minnesota Frog & Toad Calling Survey (MFTCS). The MFTCS has pre-established routes throughout the state, and available routes (the majority located in the rural areas in the west and southwest Minnesota) can be seen on the DNR website at http://www.dnr.state.mn.us/volunteering/frogtoad_survey/index.html. The website will be updated regularly as we assign available routes to volunteers. The website also provides information for prospective volunteers on the time commitment required, the general survey protocol, contact information for anyone interested in volunteering, and access to a report on the "Results of the MFTCS Survey 1996-2002".

Please feel free to forward this to anyone who may be interested volunteering for the MFTCS.
