Stupid mysql behavior: If any variable in the concat() function is null the resulting string will be null. Use ifnull() in the concat. Are you serious? How about, "if any variables that are allowed to be null are null , concat will return null but if a non-null field is null (I mean empty string), then concat will work fine"
