I have tried war driving and war chalking. Now I want to try war spying. War spying is when you drive around with an X-10 receiver hooked up to a monitor and try to pick up transmissions from those X10 spy cameras hidden in everyone's showers.
  • A cheap monitor : $25.
  • Audio and video receiver: $50.00
  • Listening in to the stultifying domesticities of the townsfolk: priceless

Q: I have heard of X-10 products to control the dimmer switches in my house and of the X10 company that sells those spy cameras. Are they related?

A: X-10 is a protocol to transfer data. It is used in a lot of home control applications and can use the AC circuitry in your house to control appliances. The X10 cameras use the X-10 protocol to transmit the pictures back to the receiver.
