Notes from Comic Art Publisher Avatar Press: Shi: Pandora's Box Artwork, Alan Moore's The Courtyard, Warren Ellis' Strange Killings, Previews, and More. Big update on the site today on a number of fronts. First off we have the November Avatar Previews Supplement online for your perusal. For those of you who use Diamond Comics Distributor's Previews to keep track and order your comics from your local retailer, our supplemental guide will give you additional artwork and information about what listed in Previews. You can always find this supplement to the latest Previews catalog at http://www.avatarpress.com/previews/. We've also got new sections on the site for Alan Moore's The Courtyard, and Warren Ellis' Strange Killings, where you can check out artwork, information, press releases, and more for these two titles. Not coincidentally, Alan Moore's The Courtyard #1 and Warren's Strange Killings Vol. 1 TPB are both listed in the Previews that hit the streets in most shops worldwide today. So these are both January 2003 solicited releases. Last but certainly not least for today, we've got a couple great pieces of Shi artwork in Juan Jose Ryp's gallery section. Juan Jose Ryp is the artist of the upcoming Shi: Pandora's Box from Avatar. More can't miss work from one of the hottest talents around.
