"The Perfect Woman"
By Lindsey Gemme
She's three feet taller than I am, boobs to the brim and laughs. She laughs, and she laughs... She touches her cheek and remembers your every viewpoint, word, and dream.
She's a slip of pink blanket On cool beach sands And the blue umbrella above While you survey her dependable waves.
Lips that brush creation inspire and breathe life into any artist, She trusts and lives life like it never started and will never end. Her unborn babies are smart, who've already won god's favor to be born into this world on first try.
No doubts burden her long lash; She cries at weddings embraces the betrayed and answers with the perfect silence. Because sometimes it's the best thing to say.
Everyone's in her corner, because she knows them all by name, has a funny story to tell with a hand on her hip filed fingernails and pretty feminine fire laminating her casual manner, and pretends not to know. You can't disapprove.
The human race courts her The Perfect Woman - We should hate her for setting the bar so high. But we try, reaching out for her hand. Being close is better than not being her at all.
