Porl Thompson and Friends
The Cure Still Lives, Announces Tour.
You've got to give it up to The Cure for having some serious stamina. Just when we thought that Robert Smith might be ready to put the Aquanet down and enter retirement, they announce a new record label deal, a new album and s summer tour. While details are light, we do know that they are going to be releasing their thirteenth studio album on Suretone Records. As for the tour, the revised lineup of Robert Smith, longtime bassist Simon Gallup, drummer Jason Cooper and old school guitarist Porl Thompson will be back in the US in September and October.
