Another Mention: Treasure Island Music Festival Line-Up Treasure Island Music Festival Announces Line-Up. The line-up for the the third incarnation of the Treasure Island Music Festival has been revealed, and it's rather impressive. All going down on an island in the middle of the San Fransisco Bay, the show spans two days: the more electro-dancey acts hold it down on Saturday October 17th, while indie rockers of all stripes and disarray will close things on Sunday the 18th. In addition to a slew of fantastic bands, the weekend will feature an interactive art tent, a vendor village with local designers and delicious food/drank, and a 60-foot Ferris wheel. Where else can you watch Wayne Coyne roll around in his plastic bubble while flying high on a carnival ride?
