Hyundai Santa Fe in the Garage

Just bought a 2005 Hyundai Santa Fe. First new car for me in many years; I tend to do the CarMax thing. After deciding to stay below $25K, I ran into 'paralysis by analysis' - too many choices.

Finally decided on an SUV and the Hyundai was a pretty easy pick after that - right size (not too small or too big), good reliability, great warranty, recommended by Consumer Reports. Only disappointment - though I knew this going into it - is the relatively low gas mileage. Oh yeah, and no GPS navigation option.Santa Fe 2005 Mocha.jpg

And used @ CarMax was a bit difficult this time around, cause they just haven't had any late model Santa Fe's at the local CarMax for the last several weeks I've been watching. So new it is!

In the meantime, can't do anything about the gas mileage, but I'm looking into GPS systems like Tom Tom.

The Kid (dave winer) Turns 50!

He's lived in two different centuries. Joyeux Anniversaire Dave!

A birthday request.

If you want to wish me a happy birthday, first, let me say, thank you, mazel tov, a blessing back at ya, namaste and let's have fun. I have one request, which I get to make because it'll be my birthday tomorrow, and I'm getting in practice for one day of pure selfishness. Instead of sending an email, if you have a blog, how about posting your wishes on your blog with a link to mine? I could always use some more flow, and I'd love to climb a few notches on the Technorati list, truth be told.
