nano killed my mini
Bill R.: From the juxtaposition of these last two posts, you can see that the new Apple iPod nano is replacing the second generations iPod mini (that I have) after only 8 short months. Just another instance of hi tech products having a short life-span. Interesting to note the nano uses the same connector as the mini, so some accessories are not a total loss. This nod by Apple to backward compatibility is their recognition of the huge 3rd party market of iPod stuff now in existence. To some extent it's the price Apple must pay for being #1 in this market (world-wide!)
