Welcome, Brian, to the blogging family. :) I, too, lament that Mozilla doesn't properly support the WYSIWYG editor. I'm hoping that some future version of Mozilla will work properly with it, and in the meantime, I keep IE 6 around solely as my blogging tool. All other browsing is with Mozilla. I haven't really experienced the pauses you're seeing, and wouldn't use Microsoft's email program on a dare (I like being virus free, thanks :), so I can't comment on the others. It's not quite a polished as IE, but in truth, Mozilla is not meant to be an end user browser. For Windows users, probably the best bet is going to be Netscape 7 when it's released.
[The .NET Guy]
Thanks Brad! Everything I said about Sam goes for you as well. I am truly humbled to get a mention by you guys.

Well, a big welcome to yet another .NET Developer, Brian Graf, who I found in my Referer logs, who was kind enough to link to a couple of my posts, and who was the first to alert me, that the famous Un-Blogger himself Chris Sells has set up an RCS feed for his un-blog at Windows Developer News!! Way Cool! [Sam Gentile's Radio Weblog]
Thanks for noticing me Sam! I routinely find great information and entertainment in the pages of Sam's blog, not to mention his great contributions to the .NET lists. His book just jumped up a couple of notches on my wishlist.

Microsoft Fortunes
On the last day of my trip to Microsoft, we were served Chinese food for lunch. Of course, you can't have Chinese food without fortune cookies. My fortune struck me funny when I considered that it came out of a Microsoft event:
"What is valuable is not new, but what is new is not valuable."
I sarted collecting more fortunes at the event and some were worth sharing:
- Versatility is one of your outstanding traits.
- A handful of patience is worth more than a bushel of brains.
- Relax and concentrate on your career plans.
- You have a potential urge and the ability for accomplishment.
- You are a person of culture.
- A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.
- Get your mind set... Confidence will lead you on.
- Don't be hasty; prosperity will knock on your door soon.
And last but not least:
- Remember to share good fortune as well as bad with your friends.
So I have... | |
