Good News For Borland fans: Borland Revenues Increase 7% in 2002 Second Quarter; Pro Forma Operating Income Rises 14%.  For the 2002 second quarter, revenues increased 7% to $59.7 million from $56.0 million for the second quarter of 2001. License revenues rose 5% to $50.1 million from $47.5 million a year ago. Gross margins improved to 85% compared with 83% in the second quarter of 2001. Operating income for the second quarter was $4.4 million compared with $4.9 million for the second quarter of 2001. Excluding acquisition-related expenses, pro forma operating income for the second quarter rose 14% to $6.0 million compared with $5.2 million for the second quarter of 2001.
