Notes: notes for next week
ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The State Library's January/February newsletter, Footnotes, is now online. Look under 'News and Announcements' at http://www.silo.lib.ia.us.
OCLC has developed an advertising campaign on behalf of libraries,
aimed at library budget decision-makers.
The 12-18 month campaign consists of a series of national
print ads and customizable, local posters. Through the advocacy
campaign, OCLC hopes to raise awareness of critical library issues,
enable more informed dialogue, and, ultimately help libraries
demonstrate their value. Their goal is to raise the visibility of
libraries. Learn more about the specifics of each campaign for public
and academic libraries at http://www.oclc.org/advocacy/default.htm.
