I've got a network set up at home now but I'm having trouble getting the two computers to recognize each other. I'm sure this has something to do with configuring the router correctly, but haven't had the time to sort it out yet. I don't really need to have a network but it's fun to play around with, especially since I'm so hardwarephobic. It's been a good learning experience.

A scary picture after a triathlonBack from Tampa, St. Petersburg really, where I participated in a triathlon relay. We finished 8th but then, there were only 8 teams. But hopefully, it will be a kickstart to the training season. Many races ahead that are longer than 5K.

Stephen J. Gould dies I remember reading Gould when I was studying evolutionary biolgy in grad school. He was a master writer who made science understandable to just about everyone. Hadn't read anything of his in quite awhile but this makes me think I should have read more.
