This Saturday the 16th I willl play the tenth annual Local Licks Live concert put on by KOZT(www.kozt.com)  This concert puts money into the local schools for music programs.  Some of the other people playing will be Bill Bottrell (www.billbottrell.com) and Frida's Circus (www.fridascircus.com).  This one of my favorite gigs of the year because it's all acoustic and the owners and staff of  KOZT are there annoucing and managing the whole thing in general.  These are radio people who started off  when FM radio was in its infancy and they have retained the playfullness and independence that seems to have characterized that time period....did I mention that KOZT won the Marconi award for best rock station  in the U.S.?  Well now I have....The concert takes place at Dana Gray Elementary School on Chestnut Street in Fort Bragg, Ca.......If you miss it you can catch it on the radio..... 2:32:51 PM    comment []
