Combining Forces Called Best Strategy to Reform MH Care

By collaborating with a number of federal agencies that administer policies related to labor, education, and criminal justice, federal mental health officials are one step closer to achieving the goals set forth in the 2003 report of the President's New Freedom Commission on Mental Health. A. Kathryn Power, M.Ed., director of the federal Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS), spoke recently about the steps she and others are taking to make this vision a reality..."
