Concerns expressed on mental health cut (Maryland)
Story in the Star Democrat - "A state senate budget subcommittee Thursday took public comment on the potential closing of the Upper Shore Community Mental Health Center in Chestertown. The Department of Legislative Services, which provides state officials with bipartisan budget analysis, has recommended $1.4 million be cut from the hospital's budget in fiscal year 2004, which starts in July."
