MOVIE - WINGED MIGRATION - Review Rating $$$$$ $$$ (OUT OF 10)

A Documentary directed by Jacques Perrin.

It took Perrin and five teams of photographers (using a variety of ultra lightweight gliders and miniature cameras) four years to chronicle the migration of a variety of bird species from the South Pole to the North pole. The end result is a fascinating and breathtaking look at these birds and the planet they soar over.

Winged Migration, which garnered a nomination for Best Documentary at the 75th Annual Academy Awards, is most definitely worth seeing and a great family film. Running time - 89 minutes
