MOVIE - THE BOURNE SUPREMACY - Review Rating $$$$$ $1/2 (OUT OF 10)
STARRING - Matt Damon (Jason Bourne), Franka Potente (Marie Helena), Joan Allen (Agent Landy), Julia Stiles (Nicolette), Brian Cox (Ward Abbott), Tim Griffin
(John Nevins) & Gabriel Mann (Zorn).
DIRECTOR - Paul Greengrass (Bloody Sunday)
Based on the novel, of the same name, by Robert Ludlum.
WARNING: ANY RESEMBLANCE BETWEEN THIS MOVIE AND THE BOOK ITS BASED ON IS PURELY COINCINDENTAL
My comments regarding the first movie in this series, The Bourne Identity , are equally applicable to this latest installment.
The only additional comment necessary is that Julia Stiles is in the running for the 2004 "Most Miscast Actress in a Supporting Role" Award.
The Bourne Supremacy is one of the few book adaptations where reading the novel first doesn't spoil the movie (sarcasm intended).
Running time - 109 minutes
