5th Jun - Analypsis (Ascension) The annual festival in Piso Livadi around 9p.m. - octopus, mezedes, wine and ouzo are offered by the local community. There is a colourful procession and traditional dancing until the early morning hours.

5th Jun - International Environment Day.

8th Jun - all day event at the Paros Nautical Club (NOP - Navtikos Omilos Parou) facility in Livadia, Paroikia to celebrate International Environment Day for children and their parents from all of Paros and Antiparos. Sailing, swimming, marine environmental education, snorkelling and diving, beach cleaning effort and underwater cleaning, touchtanks to show marine life and local environmental profile. 14-16th Jun - (in case you have the chance to visit Athens) the three-day WOMAD (World of Music, Arts and Dance) festival will be held for the second year in Athens at the Kentro Ekpedefsis Ipasias (Equestrian Centre). The Festival is under the auspices of the Cultural Olympiad, and will feature three stages with live music from a truly great line-up of international artists, plus workshops for adults and children and a range of food and merchandise stalls. 23rd Jun - Aghios Ioannis tou Kleidona. Around 9pm in the Plateia tou Christou in Marpissa, May wreaths are burned on bonfires over which young men and women leap. Also celebrated in Naoussa at around 9pm by the main square with a performance by the Music Dance Group of Naoussa, and in Paroikia, Lefkes, Aliki and Antiparos.

23rd Jun - 10.30pm - Aghios Ioannis Prodromos Lambroforos (St. John the Baptist). The village of Prodromos celebrates with music and dancing in the village square.

24th Jun - 9.30pm - performance by the Music Dance Group of Naoussa for the festival of Aghios Athanasios in Kostos.

28th Jun - 8.30pm - performance by the Folkdance Group of Naoussa and a visiting dance group in the courtyard of the Panaghia Church, Naoussa.
