Bring your rice and umbrellas, this is the original midnight movie. Rocky Horror is still playing after almost thirty years in midnight showings. Why? Well, as a solitary experience, Rocky Horror is a bit of a bore, but add a hundred or so people who know all the words and shout back at the screen and you have a classic. Part rock and roll musical, part transvestite daydream, part horror, Rocky Horror Picture Show is all good-natured camp. |
