As an excuse to run rampant on the city of Chicago, Jake and Elwood Blues attempt to raise 5000 dollars for their childhood orphanage by putting their own band back together. Good music, quotable dialogue, lots of wrecked cars and plenty of cameos. See if you can spot all the director cameos. The Blues Brothers helped spawn a soul and blues craze as well as too many white guys in black suits and shades. |
