Pitas.
Xanga. I like Xanga, look for the free site. I like this blog hosting because you can really change and mess with your blog look and feel. The commenting system is nice, but may be confusing for some.
1sound. Also has commenting. For music lovers.

There's a whole weird world out there.
The blog service I use is Radioland. You can see the link on this page. It's 40 bucks a month.
