In other terror-related stupidity, the restrooms at the Powell street station still have the signs I saw last January, solemnly warning that "Because of heightened station security, there are no restrooms in this station." Yeah, I'm sure that al Qaeda sits around planning how to put cherry bombs in the toilets at the Powell Street station. Perhaps the next piece of anti-terrorist legislation could include a provision to give credit where credit is due: I'd love to see signs saying that "Mayor Willie Brown has closed this toilet to keep you safe from terrorism."
