Jerry Falwell has
announced that Mohammed was a terrorist in an interview he did for "60 Minutes". He's scheduled to speak at the Christian Coalition convention next week, along with Republican House Whip Tom DeLay, who like much of the Republican party's current leadership apparently has no problem with people who preach religious hatred.
Meanwhile, the Republicans in New Jersey have predictably gone to court to prevent the Democratic Party from having a Senatorial candidate on the ballot after the existing candidate, Robert Torricelli, withdrew from the race.
