These being the Internet2 meetings, wireless networking is pretty ubiquitous. Larry Faulkner, president of the University of Texas- Austin, opened his part of the keynote "Before today, I'd never seen so many illuminated torsos."
Steven Sample, who's the president of the University of Southern California, is giving the introduction to Los Angeles (coming up next: Virtual Los Angeles demonstration).
"Being a university president is like being the person who mows the lawn in a cemetery. You have a lot of people under you, but they may not be listening ."
