ship of fools
The warbloggers were in full cry when a few people at the San Francisco demonstrations broke windows.I wonder why I'm not seeing any comments today about football fans, who are much more violent.
I've been in these crowds on a SuperBowl weekend in San Francisco, and they're scary. In contrast, friends who marched in the SF protests felt safe and happy, and are planning to go back and do it again next weekend, only with bigger signs and a big umbrella with fringes and doodahs, as a focal point in the crowd for their group in case they get separated.
