this week is "GLUE 4.0 week". hopefully we'll squeeze this puppy out early next week and then celebrate. right after that comes GAIA beta 1 for java.

last week lasted about a year - including 11 plane flights from dallas -> washington D.C. -> california -> boston -> NY -> dallas. the web services one conference went well, and i gave my first ever opening keynote. the topic was the "web services fabric" that i think is inevitable and will provide the "operating system" (term used loosely) for building systems out of web services.
