it looks like i'll be off to the UK for xmas. i thought about treating myself to business class plane tickets until i found out the difference in prices. it's ridiculous. a round-trip from dallas to london is about $600 economy, and $8,000 business class. there is no way i'm going to pay that much for a few hours of additional comfort!

saw the latest lara croft movie this weekend - actually quite good fun. but they didn't really explain how alexander the great had access to advanced holographic display technology.
