last week was busy; i finally moved my furniture, car and cats to adams morgan in dc. my new apartment is great; the first floor has a large open-plan living room with bedrooms on either side. the second floor has two rooms connected by a catwalk, and the third floor is a large terrace. in my case, the catwalk has already been taken over by my cats! most of the rest of my team will be here over the next few weeks. it will be good to get back to a normal lifestyle. i also bought a satellite navigation system for my car because washington d.c. is not an easy city to get around. unfortunately, the guidance software does tend to select non-optimal routes. i've got my everyday commute down to about 25 minutes down, although that is of course done in a lotus esprit ;-) 7:37:29 PM    comment []
