[ClimateWatch]: BUSINESSES TAKE INITIATIVE TO REDUCE EMISSIONS

A growing number of businesses are finding that they can cut emissions and enhance the bottom line at the same time. Many are pursuing much more ambitious greenhouse-gas reduction programs than the voluntary goals that the Bush administration favors.

Many more interesting items in their newsletter, including a green power analysis tool that "helps environmental and facility managers make decisions about purchasing and using green energy."

The "pro-business" Bush Administration remains blind to what smart business leaders increasingly see. I guess "pro-oil" ain't the same as pro-business. But what do you expect from folks pushing "a long-term budget gap of at least 25 percent of federal spending"?
