ImageEdit 1.0
Here is a great new piece of software that I have found for OS X. ImageEdit is a droplet application that let you drop a whole bunch of images on it and quickly scale, rotate or rename them. This makes very fast work of crunching an entire folder of digital camera images down to photos that are 200px or so wide to use on a web page. This developer is german and so is his web page, but the software is in English.

Fireworks MX Pop-up Menus
Macromedia's Designer and Developer center this week also features a new article about creating Pop-up Menus in Fireworks for use in Dreamweaver sites. What are pop-up menus? Pop-up menus are those little sub menus that pop down or out as you move your mouse over a menu item on a web page. If you are interested in making some of these, this article will walk you through the process. Don't forget that the help menu in Fireworks also has some pretty good help in using this feature.
