My wife and I are currently in Maine visiting some family practice residency programs in Portland and Lewiston. It's been very cold up here, although not much colder than what we left in Nebraska. There is much more snow however, and far too much of it in the city is yellow. Yuck! My brother took Amanda and I around to all the sights on Wednesday. The picture to the right is my brother, Scott, and I at Portland Head Light in Cape Elizabeth. We also went down to Kennebunkport to see the Bush compound and north to L. L. Bean's. We were going to take a ferry to the islands around here but missed it by about ten minutes. Just as well I suppose, as cold as it was in town I wasn't thrilled about the idea of being on the open sea! :)
Amanda interviewed yesterday and will interview tomorrow. After that we're all headed down to Boston for the weekend! Yipee. It sounds like it may almost get near 32 degrees down there on Saturday. I'm taking my shorts in case.
