NASA Gives Up On Pioneer 10
[Slashdot]

Sad. I remember being fascinated by Pioneer 10 when I was in elementary school. Maybe the saddest thing is that it's destined to be destroyed in a game of target practice by Captain Klaa of the Klingon empire (Star Trek V).
