Welcome to the Safari Jungle
[Slashdot]

I saw O'Reilly's safari network a couple of weeks ago and I'm very interested in it. Computer books, like college textbooks, cost far more than they seem like they are worth and everytime a new project comes along there seems to be another book that would be just perfect to buy. The Safari network allows access to nearly every book that I've been interested in. The only real downside is that you never really own the book, BUT, when your software up-revs and you get the new book, do you ever really re-visit that old book?

Director vs Flash
If you were like me you were probably wondering if Director was a dead product. While Flash continued to get stronger and and stronger, Director releases were far between. The recent release of Director MX has a lot of folks asking, "Should I use Director or Flash?"

Here's an article from WebMonkey that helps answer that question.
