PRIME MINISTER ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF TWO CHIEF JUSTICES. Prime Minister Paul Martin today announced that Her Excellency the Governor General has approved his recommendation that the Honourable Jacqueline R. Matheson be appointed Chief Justice of the Trial Division of the Supreme Court of Prince Edward Island and that the Honourable Edmond P. Blanchard be appointed Chief Justice of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada. [Government of Canada News - National]
