Revenge was so sweet for British Swimming[base ']s Steve Parry in Melbourne today when he took the 200m Butterfly gold as well as the scalp of Commonwealth gold medallist Australian Justin Norris.
It wasn[base ']t just the senior members of the predominantly junior British squad of 15 that enjoyed themselves on what, for many, is their first full international foray. With purely sensational performances young talents Keri Anne Payne and Stephanie Proud also took golds in their respective events as well as setting new British junior records in each.
