"THREATENED job cuts at Hackney's award-winning Tudor mansion, Sutton House, could ruin its success in getting those least likely to visit such historic buildings through its doors. Plans to restructure the management of east London's oldest home in Homerton High Street, as part of cost savings, will deprive people from poorer boroughs such as Hackney of the chance to enjoy the heritage and cultural activities which more affluent areas take for granted, warn campaigners opposing the cuts."
