Squatters with a cause 'greasy spoon' my arse

This was a great restaurant with a great owner - good on em for fighting for it but why is the Gazette calling it a greasy spoon? - we fondly remember the freshly made spicy vegetarian penne, one of the best feeds in Hackney for many years.

"CAMPAIGNERS have staged a midnight takeover of a popular greasy spoon to save it from demolition..."
