ROI from WebServices From the TechXNY Conference positioning the value proposition. I would imagine that when the vision of Web Services is built out and available that the cost savings will be significant in terms of integration and tailoring of services as well as from the speed of implementing or disabling. Moving away from proprietary systems will also save significant developer costs. This article also raises the question of generating revenues from Web Services, which is a different issue, which I think can be addressed in the long term by enabling new services and offerings. This is a very interesting subject and one I'll come back to regularly on the Thinkmedia weblog.

Welcome to the Thinkmedia blog... I'm presenting business and technology news and analysis on a daily basis. I'm particularly focused on the domain of XML infrastructure and inter-operability, but intend to include a cross-section of related information. I hope you find this blog informative and interesting.
