My current 'sandbox' investigations have lead me to discover TME. This company which seems very promising and who's software I've downloaded for some trials is The Mind Electric. They have created a webservices development environment GLUE, which is intended to provide 'glue' between disparate web applications. They've also created GAIA which allows for distributed processing across a network, fulfilling some of the Danny Hillis prophecies outlined in his 80's treatise The Connection Machine.. John Udall calls GLUE the SOAP Lite of Java. As I begin to explore GLUE and GAIA I'll post my discoveries here. This is the kind of technology which seems very promising for the next generation of technology infrastructure. 3:24:24 PM    .
