Sixty minutes featured the owner of the Malden Mills textile factory in Conneticut Aaron Feuerstein, who continued paying his employees after the mill had been destroyed by fire. This man's genorisity and concern for his employees was such an tribute to what it should mean to be an American, a humanitarian and a soulful individual. What a sharp contrast to the foul leadership which has been so prevalant in the U.S. economic landscape. He almost bankrupt the business rebuilding and taking care of his employee's, while he and his wife lived modestly. At a time when the executive staff of Enron, Global Crossing and Worldcom continue to make headlines for their deceit, opulent and excessive acquisitions and lawbreaking, I believe we need to remember the Aaron Feuerstein's of the corporate world. Remember to buy 'Polartec' products to support this kind of appropriate capitalism!
