Sunday morning musings

Seems it's been forever since I posted anything in the least bit personal in my weblog.  I suppose I lost interest along the way...

There have been some pretty interesting developments here at home over the past month including the fact that my oldest daughter has just become engaged.  Wedding is planned for August 2003, and she's already started preparing.  I've been dragged to bridal shops, splurged on a wedding planner at Amazon, and listened to countless phone calls informing me of critical wedding decisions such as "Mom? I think the guest list will be around 150-200 people...."  and "Mom? There will be four bridesmaids (4 dresses for bridesmaids, one dress for the flowergirl and one wedding gown)"  I am forever calculating in my head huge sums of money that will be required and it only makes me dizzy with the thought that I can't give her everything she wants.  I vote for elopement.  :)

My youngest daughter, who just recently enrolled in beauty school, and without having any actual practice on a HUMAN head, decided yesterday to cut Scott's hair.  Needless to say, there was a slight goof...the kind that can only be made better by saying "It'll grow back"...Rest assured, she'll have time for plenty of practice at school before she gets tackles MY locks !

I changed my mood today to "moody"....
