Remember Columbia

Space shuttle Columbia disintegrated and burned up over Texas, killing entire crew of 7. This was mission STS-107. Columbia first flew in 1981. This was 113th shuttle flight and flight 28 for Columbia. Vehicle was traveling Mach 18 (12,000 mph?) at 207,000 feet. This was the 144th manned U.S. Space mission. Lost contact 19 minutes before scheduled touchdown, at about 9AM local time in Texas. As Ronald Reagan said after the Challenger 7 accident: "We shall never forget them nor the last time we saw them, as they prepared for their mission and waved good-bye and slipped the surly bonds of Earth to touch the face of God." Maria worked all day at the college, until 9:30PM, helping with state reports. I worked on wedding slideshow DVD testing. Sonic trims display time to match music length, but very poorly. Pinnacle Studio 8 won't read AVI capture from Roxio, though my other players will.
