In conjunction with the announcement of Warp 11's CD Launch gig at Blue Lamp Sacramento, TKMUFC and NASA are announcing that Karl Miller will be sent to Mars!
On December 13, 2002, Warp 11 will be playing at the Blue Lamp Sacramento to launch their new CD "RED ALERT".
In 2003, twin Mars Rovers will be launched towards the Red Planet. Once on the surface, the Rovers will be able to travel significant distances and use several instruments to help scientists determine the climate and water history in Mars' present and past.
Dr. Ed Weiler, Associate Administrator for the Office of Space Science said, "[Karl Miller ] dreamed of being an explorer on an alien planet [and will] go along for the ride as we explore the surface of Mars".
