Finding state trade name or trade mark information is not as easy.  I've not been able to find one free source that aggregates all of this information.

Some Secretaries of State post this type of information on their websites.  You can link to these sites from the National Association of Secretaries of State website.

Other good sources include Hoover's Online, LexisNexis Directory of Corporate Affiliations, and Dun & Bradstreet.
